Job DescriptionOperations Assistant Temporary-to-Hire Position Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMOccasional Saturday hours (9am-2pm , 1-2x per month) are required Pay Rate: $25/hour Location: Pleasantville, New York - accessible by Metro-North, Harlem Line Position Type: Direct Hire with benefits We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our client's team. This is a full-time, on-site position in Pleasantville, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management and administrative support, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. This role is essential in partnering with the Director of Field Operations to ensure the smooth operation of roofing services delivery, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. Bilingual Spanish is Required Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project Coordination • Collaborate with Field Operations team to schedule service appointments and handle customer and vendor inquiries, • Ensure accurate input of job information into project management software system, • Coordinate with in-house project managers and third-party vendors to monitor service delivery progress, • Ensure completion criteria have been met in a timely manner, • Assist with building permits and building material warranty registrationCustomer Service & Communication, • Operate phone systems to answer calls, direct inquiries, and provide customer support, • Handle customer inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, • Provide project updates and coordinate resolution of customer concerns, • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (required)Administrative Support, • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records, • Assist with filing, proofreading documents, and managing office correspondence, • Maintain calendars for scheduling appointments and meetings, ensuring effective time management, • Support team members with clerical support and administrative tasks to enhance team productivity, • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for document creation and collaborationRequired QualificationsMUST HAVE:, • Fluent in English and Spanish (required), • Proven experience in an office setting with clerical or administrative responsibilities, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, • Strong computer skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and document preparation, • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, • Maintains a regular work schedule and understands the importance of reliable attendance, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Ability to commute to Pleasantville, NY Preferred Qualifications, • Familiarity with accounting/project management software (training will be provided), • Previous experience in construction, roofing, or home improvement industry, • Experience with permit processes and warranty managementWhat We Offer Through This Temporary Assignment, • Competitive hourly rate: $25/hour, • Flexible schedule options: Choose between 8-4 or 9-5 schedule, Monday-Saturday, • Excellent potential for permanent placement with our client, • Professional development: Learn roofing industry operations and project management, • Supportive work environment: Partner directly with Director of Field Operations #zrCompany DescriptionWe don’t just want to find you a job, we want to help you achieve your goals.
