Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Financial Analyst - Product, Accounting, Reporting Alternate / Related Job Titles: • Regulatory Reporting Financial Analyst, • Capital Markets Financial Analyst, • Finance Systems Business Analyst, • Regulatory Finance Analyst, • Possible overtime, • Possibility of extensionJob SummaryThe Financial Analyst will support Finance regulatory reporting system change initiatives, with a primary focus on FR-Y15 regulatory reporting. This role partners closely with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to ensure accurate regulatory reporting, strong internal controls, and effective remediation of reporting and data quality issues. The position requires deep financial, accounting, and product knowledge, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities• Prepare business requirements and functional specifications to support regulatory reporting system changes, specifically FR-Y15, • Provide developers with clear technical and functional guidance for Axiom or related regulatory reporting platforms, • Understand data at its source, including general ledger and data warehouse relationships, • Manage all phases of testing, including reconciliation back to source data, • Develop and implement interim solutions to address regulatory reporting issues, • Perform inter-report reconciliations between regulatory and risk reporting to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, • Review system data flows, identify issues, and recommend solutions, • Partner with Data Group Office to identify, document, and remediate data quality issues, • Identify, analyze, and prioritize internal control weaknesses, perform root cause analysis, and assess regulatory riskRequired Skills & Qualifications• 10+ years of financial, regulatory, and/or accounting experience, • Strong understanding of business risks and internal controls, • In-depth knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting objectives and requirements, • 5+ years of experience assessing and escalating sensitive issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing preventive controls, • 3+ years of experience with capital markets productsPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills• Familiarity with Axiom application development lifecycle methodologies, • Experience with FR-Y15 reporting, • CPA preferredEducation• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline (required), • Advanced degree in a financial discipline (preferred)Soft Skills• Ability to build strong relationships and gain stakeholder confidence, • Proven success working in unstructured or ambiguous environments, • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting results and communicating objectivesBenefits• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
