Job Description Overview Cashiers are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. Cashiers must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender’s Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each cashiering entry. Essential Qualifications: • Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent, • Have a safe and reliable vehicle, • Be willing to transport individuals in personal vehicle, • Carry appropriate and valid vehicle insurance and registration, • Be able to work independently and in cooperation with others, • Be able to life and transfer 50-75 lbs., • Passion and dedication in caring and advocating for adults with disabilities, • Have a valid drivers license This is a driving position that will require the use of your personal vehicle to transport the clients we serve. The State of Colorado requires that any vehicle used for this purpose pass a detailed multi-point safety inspection. Some of the items on this inspection include windshield, suspension, brakes, lights, seatbelts and all other safety features. If offered this position, Stellar Care will cover the cost of the inspection, however any repairs required are at the expense of the applicant and must be resolved within 30 days of hire. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create positive guest and team member experiences, creating a fun and energetic vibe, • Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions, • Follow Tokyo Joes operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift, • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items, • Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis., • Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner, • Quickly and accurately prepare food items, • Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment, • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas, • Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints, • Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift, • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Tokyo Joes, • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, • Contributes to a positive team environment, • Manage others through positive communication, teamwork and delegation to complete tasks, • Food, Team Member and Guest Safety, • Cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and equipment, • Enforce and follow all company policies and procedures, • Mastery of menu portion and allergens, • Excellent guest service skills required, • Cash Handling and Managment, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to 8+ hours per shift, • Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic, • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, • Ability to work with sharp kitchen tools when in a prep position
