Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicles to factory standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding and soldering), and airless paint spraying systems to execute repairs efficiently and accurately. Replace or repair auto glass components with precision, maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction. Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts, working with sheet metal, and applying mechanical knowledge for complex repairs. Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as light repairs, and assembly work to ensure overall vehicle safety and performance. Skills Extensive background in auto body repair is required (5+ years) Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and working with sheet metal is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Skilled in auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for smooth finishes. Ability to perform automotive repair tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
