Key Responsibilities\n The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for: \n\n • Utilizing your expertise to conduct independent psychosocial assessments, helping students articulate their challenges and strengths.\n, • Collaborating with students to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral activation.\n, • Implementing and monitoring behavioral interventions, utilizing a systemic approach to track progress toward treatment goals through both virtual and in-person interactions.\n, • Actively engaging with other mental health professionals, educators, and primary care providers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to each student's care.\n, • Providing support for psychotropic medication management, focusing on treatment adherence and monitoring for potential side effects to enhance student outcomes.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n This role primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Our approach recognizes the importance of cultural competence and sensitivity in providing care. As part of our team, you will play an integral role in promoting positive mental health and academic success among students, particularly those who may feel marginalized or underserved. Qualifications\n To be considered for this position, an applicant must possess: \n\n • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.\n, • A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.\n, • A minimum of one year of post-licensure experience as a therapist, demonstrating the ability to work independently in a clinical setting.\nPreferred Experience\n While the minimum experience is one year, candidates with experience working in educational settings or with youth populations are highly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and school-based mental health initiatives will also be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
