At Houston Methodist, the Echo Sonographer II position is an experienced and fully competent sonographer who performs a variety of routine to complex echocardiograms including but not limited to Transthoracic Echocardiogram or TTE, with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging, Transesophageal Echocardiogram TEE, Plain Stress Echocardiogram or Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram, TTE with bubbles, TTE with Contrast and advanced TTE such as TTE with 3D imaging, for both inpatient and outpatient studies. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II is an experienced, fully competent Technologist with specialized training and knowledge of cardiovascular procedures directly related to the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory, Responsible for assisting physicians with highly specialized and complex interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures including but not limited to: peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, artherectomy, laser, and coronary ultrasound; electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implantation. For annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, including locations in the U.S., at bases overseas, or in areas where humanitarian needs are great.
