Job Description Starting Salary: $72,500 (Negotiable Dependent Upon Experience) Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent; education beyond a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized banking education/training; valid driver's license. General Responsibilities Responsible for managing assigned Branch Office in order to meet the financial services needs of customers in the given community market area; implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the office as part of the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan; ensuring office compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports. • Manages assigned Branch Office in order to meet the financial services needs of customers in the given community market area as follows: 2. Leads, organizes, and directs all inside and outside sales, branch functions, and business development activities in order to achieve growth, excellent customer service, and profitability for the Bank., 3. Enhances Bank image through friendly, pro-active customer-driven servicing of their needs in support of the goal of exceeding customer expectations., 4. Conducts relationships with customers in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank., 5. Ensures customer retention as well as growth of the branch and its team., 6. Works with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office; provides input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured and controlled., 7. Ensures that the branch office is properly staffed to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives., 8. Ensures all customer service personnel are adequately trained with respect to both product knowledge and sales techniques., 9. Motivates and coaches branch team to ensure the successful development and performance of all employees in areas of customer experience, sales goals, and leadership., 10. Establishes specific sales and customer service goals for each sales representative., 11. Ensures all sales and customer service reporting information is provided on a timely basis., 12. Conducts regularly scheduled sales and customer service meetings., 13. Serves as an active member of the office customer service team and is held accountable for sales performance., 14. Makes "outside" sales and customer service calls on present and prospective customers within the office's market area., 15. Ensures that all office operations are performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor, e.g., office balancing, control of vault cash, etc., 16. Provides for the proper security, maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the office; supervises the opening and closing of the building and vault; makes necessary provisions for the securing and accounting of negotiable papers., 17. Conducts regular self-audits within branch., 18. Establishes Customer Information Files (CIFs) and opens new accounts with appropriate identification., 19. Reviews all new accounts for accuracy and legitimacy., 20. Prepares outgoing wires., 21. Places stops and holds on accounts as required., 22. Participates in the development and execution of product plans., 23. Establishes/coordinates Remote Capture process for business customers., 24. Ensure timely review of various branch reports for accuracy., 25. Ensures timely submission of required reporting., 26. Actively participates in community organizations and activities in a manner which reflects favorably on the Bank. Job DescriptionDescription: Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3000 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Strategic Account Manager for the Export department in our Jersey City office.
