About The Role: The Flight Operations Technician reports to the Head of Flight Operations and is part of the team that manages and executes Urban Sky stratospheric flight operations. This position is based in Denver, CO and requires strong field experience, discretion and judgment while launching, tracking, and retrieving high-altitude balloon systems for various applications to deliver crucial internal and customer data. Extensive overnight travel (up to 100%) is required (CONUS and occasionally OCONUS). The work schedule is dynamic, at times unpredictable, and subject to change based upon the operational needs of the company and our customers. Evenings/nights/weekends as required depending on flight schedule, surge periods, weather, etc. Work days can consist of long hours driving or long days hiking in the field, or a combination of both. 12-16 hour days are not uncommon on mission days, however not every day will involve flying as operations are dependent on weather conditions, customer support and R&D schedule. As a Flight Operations Technician at Urban Sky, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of high-altitude micro-balloon flight systems for various missions. Able to provide continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service. Key Functions: • Launch and Recovery Operations: Perform physical launch and recovery of micro-balloon flight systems, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines., • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles during deployments, which can involve long-distance driving for both launch locations and chase/recovery activities., • On-Call Readiness: Be available for rapid deployment with less than 24 hours' notice, traveling extensively throughout the Continental U.S. for periods ranging from a few days to a few weeks, and/or supporting local Colorado R&D missions., • Communication and Responsiveness: Carry and maintain a smartphone at all times when On-Call, responding promptly to notifications. Demonstrate proficiency in Urban Sky technology for flight tracking and communication., • Field Presence: Exercise sound judgment, at times in ambiguous situations, as well as navigating field hazards, respecting private property, and representing Urban Sky professionally when interacting with third parties such as property owners, law enforcement, and customers., • Work Environment: Work flexible hours, including long days driving or hiking in the field. The Sr. Field Account Manager is responsible for retaining and further developing existing customer relationships through maintaining and selling Vertafore products and services into Vertafore Field accounts. Core Requirements and Responsibilities: • Expand Vertafore footprint by selling Vertafore products and services into existing accounts, • Execute the Vertafore Value Selling Process, • Present complex, solution-selling techniques at the executive level, • Make recommendations to customers that align business needs to technology solutions and services, • Retain existing revenue through building and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, • Expeditiously and effectively resolve customer concerns, • Engage with internal teams to suggest solutions and innovative ideas to better serve the customer, • Regularly perform against individual monthly and/or quarterly activity targets tied to revenue expansion and retention, • Chart and deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management · Strong technical skills – Web Conferencing, MS Office, CRM software · Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong, meaningful client relationships · Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain customer confidence · Self-motivated and ability to work independently Qualifications • At least 3 years of related software sales and account management experience, • Proven success in Business-to-Business application software sales and account management, • Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas, • Understanding of Salesforce.com and other key sales technologies used for Business Development, Opportunity creation and activity tracking, • Bachelor’s degree preferred Additional Requirements and Details: · Travel required up to 75% of the time. · Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis · Located and working from an office location (when required) · Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. · Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.). · Frequent sitting and/or standing. Overview We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support a technology team to perform account management platform initiatives within the billing domain. This role will play a key part in managing and coordinating activities for newly developed and enhanced systems, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. This role is part of a high-visibility team supporting critical billing and platform initiatives. This is a long-term consulting role in Denver, CO and will require 4 days on site and one day hybrid. Qualified candidates must live in the Denver area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfer. We do not offer relocation for this role. Candidates outside of the metro Denver area can not be considered for this role. Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate activities related to account management platforms focused on billing and financial system functionality., • Research and resolve functional inquiries and system-related issues., • Handle enhancement requests and support system releases and upgrades., • Provide ongoing support for billing system updates and improvements., • Compile and analyze data, producing reports to monitor billing activity and system performance., • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions., • Be the primary liaison between product, user support, and engineering/dev teams., • Document system issues, requirements, and processes clearly and effectively., • Translate business needs into functional requirements and technical deliverables. Requirements Requirements • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar Analyst type role, • Industry background in telecommunications, technology, or related industry is preferred, • Proven experience understanding billing and financial concepts like subscriptions, rate plans, charges, credits, general ledger, financial reporting, payment processing is required, • Knowledge of SaaS platforms is required, • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint are needed, • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent stakeholder management skills, • Experience supporting billing systems or account management platforms, • Familiarity with system releases, upgrades, and production support, • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work in a client facing support role, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential for success Compensation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 12 month consulting engagement with an expected annual salary of $70-85k . Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
