Job Description Summary Our client is a highly sought after Mechanical & Plumbing Commercial and Industrial Contractor located in the Austin, TX area. They are in immediate need of a Project Manager. A Project Manager will provide overall management direction for a project or group of projects and will perform additional duties that include procuring equipment and subcontracts, monitoring and accurately projecting job costs, maintaining billing and schedules and providing technical support and leadership to the field. Additional responsibilities include providing production oversight with the project’s Superintendent on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects. The Project Manager will also develop and maintain long term customer relationships to foster better communications and develop future work. Duties & Responsibilities • Provide production oversight to the project Superintendent on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects., • Review project estimates and verify accuracy of entry into job cost system as well as accuracy of initial estimate., • Conduct pre-job and continuing planning meetings to ensure all project team members understand contract terms and conditions, clauses, schedules, or any unusual requirements of the project., • Documents planning meeting results and ensures all action items are completed. Job Description Job Summary: The SMT Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment on the production line. This role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SMT equipment, as well as assisting with asset management and supporting engineering efforts. The technician plays a key role in maintaining equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring production quality. Key Responsibilities: • Perform regular maintenance on SMT equipment (e.g., loaders, printers, SPI, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI machines)., • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions., • Conduct pre-operational checks after maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly., • Update and maintain records of equipment movements and assist with asset transfers., • Complete and update maintenance labels and records for all SMT equipment., • Repair soldering irons and ionizer fans as needed., • Maintain and calibrate feeders for placement machines., • Assist with mid-year and year-end fixed asset inventories., • High School diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in SMT or electronics preferred., • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in SMT equipment maintenance or related technical fields., • Skills:, • Strong knowledge of SMT equipment and components., • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate various SMT equipment., • Familiarity with asset management and documentation., • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment., • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance.
