About the Opportunity \n Fluid Metering, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable and highly organized Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Specialist to join our Quality, Regulatory & Compliance team. \n This position plays an important role in managing programs related to product and material compliance, import and export compliance, customer and supplier requirements, contract administration, and electronic quality management systems. The ideal candidate enjoys working across departments, improving processes, managing detailed documentation, and translating regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. \n Reporting to the Director of Quality, Regulatory & Compliance, this individual will collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Product Development, Quality, Commercial, Finance, People Operations, and Information Technology. \n What You’ll Do \n Electronic Quality Management Systems \n\n • Serve as the business administrator for the company’s electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).\n, • Support system implementation, configuration, testing, document migration, workflow administration, reporting, user support, and continuous improvement.\n, • Coordinate the rollout and adoption of new eQMS modules and system enhancements.\n, • Maintain workflows, templates, records, dashboards, reports, and system data integrity.\n, • Maintain the company training matrix, assign applicable training, monitor completion, and follow up on overdue requirements.\n, • Serve as the company liaison for eQMS support tickets, including troubleshooting coordination, status communication, testing, and resolution confirmation.\n\n Contract Administration \n\n • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of contract lifecycle management processes and systems.\n, • Maintain contract repositories, approval workflows, renewal schedules, version control, and status reports.\n, • Coordinate contract routing, approval follow-up, and execution tracking.\n\n Customer and Product Compliance \n\n • Manage customer regulatory questionnaires, declarations, certifications, and related documentation.\n, • Prepare and maintain documentation supporting requirements such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, POPs, California Proposition 65, Conflict Minerals, PPWR, and other applicable product and material regulations.\n, • Coordinate customer compliance requests and ensure timely, accurate responses.\n\n Supplier Compliance \n\n • Manage regulatory and compliance activities associated with supplier qualification and requalification.\n, • Review and maintain supplier certifications, declarations, questionnaires, compliance records, confidentiality agreements, and Supplier Quality Agreements.\n, • Build productive supplier relationships and follow up on outstanding documentation and compliance requirements.\n, • Coordinate supplier communications related to nonconformances and Supplier Corrective Action Requests, track responses and due dates, and escalate overdue items.\n, • Partner with Purchasing and Quality on supplier performance and governance activities.\n\n Import and Export Compliance \n\n • Manage the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the company’s import and export compliance program.\n, • Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and couriers to resolve clearance issues, shipment holds, documentation discrepancies, and classification or duty questions.\n, • Maintain approved HTS classifications within item and shipment records and communicate classifications to brokers and couriers.\n, • Administer restricted-party screening, end-user and end-use due diligence, destination and diversion-risk reviews, and sanctions compliance activities.\n, • Coordinate and maintain ECCNs, Schedule B codes, Country of Origin information, customs valuation support, and related trade determinations.\n, • Maintain trade compliance procedures, shipment records, broker communications, training materials, and program metrics.\n, • Monitor regulatory changes, assess potential business impact, and escalate high-risk or potentially reportable matters.\n\n Reporting and Process Improvement \n\n • Maintain compliance calendars, certification schedules, regulatory trackers, action logs, and reporting timelines.\n, • Prepare departmental dashboards, status reports, and management updates.\n, • Develop templates, forms, procedures, and guidance documents that support consistent program execution.\n, • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardized workflows, and business-system enhancements.\n\n What You’ll Bring \n\n • Bachelor’s degree.\n, • Three to five years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, trade compliance, supplier compliance, supply chain, or a related function within a manufacturing environment.\n, • Practical experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, or couriers;
