Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Remote – New Jersey) We are seeking two qualified Workers’ Compensation Attorney's to join a dynamic and collaborative legal team. This position offers a remote work environment with required travel for in-person hearings in Southern New Jersey. MUST be barred in New Jersey to be considered. Position Summary The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload involving workers’ compensation matters, including litigation, motion practice, and client advocacy. This role requires strong analytical, writing, and courtroom skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities • Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research, • Develop and implement effective defense strategies, • Draft pleadings, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents, • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including hearings and trials, • Communicate with clients, courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel, • Prepare and present evidence at hearings and trial proceedings, • Draft and argue appellate briefs as needed, • Collaborate with team members through case reviews, training, and ongoing professional development Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, • Active license to practice law in New Jersey, • 2–10+ years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law, including trial and motion practice, • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with legal technology platforms, • Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative Additional Details • Remote position with required travel for hearings in Southern New Jersey, • High-speed wired internet connection required, • Compensation: $120,000–$200,000 DOE, plus generous bonus structure Trustpoint.One provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
