We are searching for a Receiving Clerk that is able to efficiently load/unload, put away and stage raw materials on our production lines. The ideal candidate for this role needs to be able to communicate clearly with production, safely operate a sit-down forklift and be able to come up with solutions to any issues that may arise. We need someone that can hit the ground running and ensure that all raw materials are available for our production lines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as a normal practice. • Operate a sit-down forklift daily to retrieve, put away and stage raw materials, • Safely operate forklift by watching out for pedestrians and moving levers to control movement of the forks on the forklift, • Use computer to process receipts and make stock adjustments, • Unload truck/trailer of materials to be received following the company guidelines, • Fill out and complete receiving paperwork for orders, • Process orders in the ERP system, • Restock materials as needed for production, • Conduct daily counts on materials to ensure correct stock, • Must be able to lift 50lbs, • Check equipment and report any problems to your supervisor, • Charge the forklift after your shift is done, • Follow all safety regulations established by the company, OSHA, or Dot and all applicable laws, • Attend company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings,, • department meetings.), • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required, • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures., • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
