JOB DUTIES • Ensures that all residents are assessed and evaluated as per policy and procedure throughout their stay by reviewing resident's plan of care., • Coordinates nursing services to ensure that the resident’s total regimen of care is maintained., • Prepares and administers medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with current federal, state and local standards., • Ensures that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, medical supplies and equipment is on hand to meet nursing needs of the residents., • Administers professional services such treatments of catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/ bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, etc. as required., • Completes and files required records/forms/charts upon the resident’s admission and residence., • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing., • Active license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of New Jersey required., • Minimum of 1-year experience working as an LPN., • Knowledge of electronic charting a plus., • Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities and crisis., • Tactful and courteous with residents, families, practitioners and others., • Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
