This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic team. The Import Entry Specialist role provides exposure to multiple facets of logistics, customs brokerage, and maritime operations. Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive salary: $55,000-$60,000 yearly (commensurate with experience), • Discretionary bonuses and employee recognition programs, • Hybrid work environment (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) or fully remote, • Medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA/HRA, and EAP, • Company-paid life and disability insurance, • Voluntary life and AD&D options, • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays, • Interface with customers on electronic data management of ISF filings and Customs entries, • Prepare and manage international documentation, ensuring compliance with HTS, OGA, and Customs regulations, • Track inbound shipments, identify delays/discrepancies, and communicate status to importers, • Coordinate deliveries with importers, issue delivery orders, and dispatch to truckers, • Process daily Duty Statement/ACH payments, including packet preparation and system authorization, • Perform general office tasks: phone support, data entry, faxing, scanning, and document processing, • Maintain organized records to ensure consistency and accuracy in entry processing, • Refer complex classification or regulatory questions to supervisor for review, • Generate and process billing invoicesRequirements: Qualifications: • High school diploma required; some college preferred, • Import logistics experience required, • Experience in Air Freight preferred, however Ocean Freight experience is also accepted, • Experience in international shipping logistics required, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Familiarity with International Customs, ISF entry, etc. required, • Familiarity with ABI, FDA systems, and import documentation is beneficial, • Excellent math skills and ability to calculate duty rates, entered values, and exchange rates, • Someone who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team, • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, • A strong sense of accountability and customer service, • Willingness to learn and grow in the role We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members.
