Job Description Position Summary The Property Manager is responsible for ensuring that all phases of the property operate smoothly and efficiently by planning and implementing procedures according to Company standards to meet financial objectives. This involves managing financial matters, marketing and filling vacancies, handling tenant relations, enforcing leases and overseeing maintenance. (WSFSSH) is a community-based organization whose mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting which enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides housing for low- income older persons, many of whom live with mental illness and/or have experienced homelessness. WSFSSH currently owns and operates nearly 2200 units in 28 buildings located in Manhattan and the Bronx. Responsibilities: The Property Manager reports to the Deputy Director/Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of buildings owned and operated by WSFSSH. Summary: The Maintenance Helper will handle and perform a variety of non-technical, non-licensed mechanical, electrical maintenance, HVAC, painting, carpentry, custodial, plumbing, general repair, and other handyperson tasks related to overall building maintenance for a new mixed-use residential and commercial building in Lower Manhattan, NY.
