HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 11/17/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Rochester, NY Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements: • Provide respiratory care in both acute and long-term care settings, rotating as needed., • Care for patients with CHF, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and respiratory infections., • Perform ABG sampling, ventilator management, patient assessment, and pulmonary hygiene., • Manage airway devices (ET tube, nasal/oral airway, tracheostomy), suctioning, and extubation/intubation assist., • Administer oxygen therapy (bag and mask, HFNC, trach collar, T-piece) and nebulizer treatments., • Operate and troubleshoot ventilators including Hamilton, Servo-U, NKV330, Airvo2, Dream Machines, and V30’s., • Work in adult critical care and emergency department environments., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, PT, radiology, respiratory services, and rapid response teams., • Required to take on-call shifts (1 every other week at night) and work every other weekend (minimum 6 per contract)., • Minimum 1 year of experience., • BLS and RRT certification required., • Experience with Epic charting preferred., • Previous charge experience preferred., • Teaching, community hospital, LTAC, and trauma level I/II experience preferred., • Travel experience not required., • No locals within 75 miles.
