This ideal candidate oversees all daily operations of a fast-paced automotive Express Lube. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, team performance, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong automotive knowledge, management experience, and a passion for developing high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: • Oversee daily shop operations, including customer flow, service times, and technician productivity., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations., • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and parts control to prevent shortages or overstock., • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service environment. Customer Service: • Deliver outstanding customer experiences through quality service and communication., • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally., • Promote recommended maintenance services to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Team Leadership: • Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals., • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching., • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency. Financial Performance: • Monitor daily sales, service metrics, and profitability targets., • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive business growth. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in automotive service management or related field (Express Lube, Quick Lane, or similar)., • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventive maintenance services., • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills., • Proven ability to manage staff, inventory, and financial performance., • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Preferred Skills: • ASE certifications or equivalent automotive training., • Experience with POS/service management software (e.g., Mitchell, RO Writer, or similar)., • Strong customer service and sales background.
