Job Description Charge Nurse (RN) – Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital, Wichita KS Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour (Based on Experience & Education) $2,500 Sign-On Bonus ($625 paid at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year of employment) Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, lead and mentor staff, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment. What You’ll Do: • Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift, • Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, • Participate in staff development and performance evaluation, • Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents, • Represent management and administration in their absence, • Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour, based on experience and education, • $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in four installments during your first year, • Shift Differentials: +$3.00/hour for weekday evenings/overnights, +$5.00/hour for weekend evenings/overnights, • Comprehensive Benefits Package, including:, • Medical, Vision, and Free Dental Insurance, • Paid Parental Leave, • 403(b) Retirement Plan with Company Match, • Tuition Reimbursement, • Education: Associates degree in nursing required.
