Job DescriptionLHH is actively seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for one of our top clients in Irving! This will be a contract to start opportunity with our client and will be hybrid to their office in Irving. Customer Service Coordinator Job Summary The Customer Service Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and supporting transportation and logistics operations. This role ensures timely issue resolution, proactive communication, and accurate coordination throughout the order and shipment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Respond to customer phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional communication., • Process customer orders accurately and within required timeframes., • Monitor and manage customer requests, inquiries, and service exceptions, escalating issues when necessary., • Support the full order lifecycle from order entry through delivery confirmation., • Coordinate dispatch activities including driver instructions, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation., • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and issue resolution., • Assist with onboarding new customers and following up on new orders., • Collaborate with Sales and internal teams to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and met., • Maintain accurate and detailed records in internal databases and tracking systems., • Perform data entry tasks including order entry, shipment tracking, and status updates across multiple systems., • Research and resolve shipment exceptions with carriers such as trucking vendors, railroads, and steamship lines., • Monitor schedules, logs, and daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency., • Scan and organize documents within the document management system., • Provide input on departmental initiatives and process improvement opportunities., • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed.Qualifications Education • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Associate degree or related coursework preferredExperience, • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required, • Experience in transportation, logistics, or import/export operations preferred, • Experience working with domestic and/or international shipping processes is a plusSkills & Abilities, • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), • Typing speed of 35 WPM and experience with ten-key data entry, • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills, • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities, • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills, • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretionCore Competencies, • Results Driven: Consistently achieves high levels of individual and organizational performance., • Customer Focus: Prioritizes customer needs and delivers solutions that exceed expectations., • Sound Decision Making: Makes informed decisions that support business goals and resolve challenges efficiently., • Values Driven: Demonstrates excellence, integrity, innovation, honesty, and teamwork in daily work.Pay Details: $20.00 to $20.92 per hour Search managed by: Kaitlynne Hope Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
