Position Title: Commercial Truck Parts Counter Representative FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Position Requirements, including, but not limited to, the following: • Serve as a subject matter expert in GM and Isuzu commercial truck parts, delivering high-level support and solutions to customers and internal teams;, • Provide exceptional, consultative service at the parts counter, handling complex inquiries with professionalism and efficiency;, • Accurately identify, source, and recommend parts using advanced knowledge of Isuzu and GM systems and catalogs;, • Oversee and execute parts orders, returns, and special orders with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and profitability;, • Communicate parts availability, pricing strategies, and delivery timelines clearly and proactively to customers and service teams;, • Partner closely with service technicians and advisors to ensure timely and accurate parts fulfillment, minimizing downtime;, • Lead inventory management efforts, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing, with a focus on efficiency and best practices;, • Maintain and audit inventory records to ensure accuracy and accountability across all transactions;, • Monitor stock levels, analyze usage trends, and proactively manage reorder points to optimize inventory performance;, • Ensure the parts department maintains a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace;, • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal team to support long-term business growth;, • Drive operational efficiency in parts identification, inventory control, and order processing;, • Support team development by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting best practices;, • Complete required annual training and stay current on product updates, systems, and industry trends;, • Take initiative on process improvements and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Valid Driver's license in good standing;, • High School diploma or equivalent;, • Regular and consistent attendance and timeliness is essential;, • In-person work is essential;, • Knowledge of Isuzu parts or commercial vehicle parts is a plus;, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;, • Strong organizational skills;, • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;, • Strong customer service and communication skills;, • Ability to multitask in a busy counter environment;, • Ability to lift parts and packages as needed;, • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience level Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, bending, typing, writing, talking, viewing/ reading computer screen, critical thinking, and lifting. Work Environment: The Parts Counter Representative will primarily work in the office, however there may be times that this position may be exposed to various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
