Job Summary: The Commercial Installation Project Manager will lead and manage the installation of integrated security systems. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex installations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronic security, access control, and surveillance systems and be willing to travel to ensure successful project delivery. This Project Manager works hands-on in the field, installing and servicing electronic security systems. Responsibilities: • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electronic security system installations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards., • Lead a team of installation technicians and subcontractors. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project execution and professional development., • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the installation process. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction., • Ensure the proper installation, configuration, and integration of electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance systems, gate operators, alarm systems, and other low-voltage technologies., • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards., • Maintain detailed records of project progress, including installation reports, change orders, and equipment inventories. Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders., • Identify potential risks or issues related to installation projects and develop effective mitigation strategies., • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations., • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery., • Foster a positive and motivated team culture, promoting collaboration and innovation., • Follow safety procedures and keep the job site clean, organized, and hazard-free, including thorough clean-up at the end of each project and workday., • Other duties as business needs require. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience., • Minimum of five years of experience in managing the installation of integrated security systems, with a focus on high-value projects., • In-depth knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, gate operators, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage technologies., • Sound familiarity with electrical codes and regulations., • Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to accurately plan installations, ensure compliance with specifications, and guide project execution., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce preferred., • Effectively lead and motivate a team of technicians and subcontractors. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships., • Travel up to 50% to various project sites, including potential overnight stays., • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements., • Pass a drug screen and background check., • Proof of personal vehicle insurance to include automobile liability and property damage coverage., • Reliable transportation., • Relevant technical certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements: • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs., • Stand, walk, or remain seated at a desk for extended periods., • Move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds., • Observe details at close range., • Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information., • Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials while interacting with others., • Exchange accurate information in person, over the phone, in writing, and electronically., • Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions so others will understand., • May be exposed to loud noise., • Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require., • Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces or both., • Safely ascend and descend stairs and ladders as needed., • Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods., • Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery. Job Type: Full-time, exempt Work/Base Location: Jacksonville or Orlando, FL Work Hours/Availability: Core hours are 7 AM – 4 PM. Must have the ability to work outside of these hours to support business needs.
