Responsibilities: • Access Control - Monitoring and controlling the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials, preventing unauthorized access., • Patrols - Conducting regular and random patrols of the grounds and perimeter to deter potential threats and identify security breaches., • Surveillance - Monitoring CCTV and other security systems to detect suspicious activity and respond to alarms may be required., • Incident Response - Responding to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure safety., • Security Protocol Enforcement - Ensuring that all personnel and visitors adhere to the refinery's security policies and procedures., • Emergency Response - Following established emergency procedures and protocols during incidents, including evacuation procedures and communication with relevant authorities., • Documentation - Maintaining accurate records of safety and security incidents, patrols, and other relevant activities, and preparing reports for management., • Collaboration - Working closely with other security personnel, emergency responders, and plant management to maintain a safe and secure work environment., • Training and Awareness - Participating in security training programs and promoting security awareness among plant personnel., • Qualifications:, • Licensing - Active TWIC required, active level 2 or above security license required, active safety council certification preferred, • Technical Skills - A deep understanding of security protocols, emergency response and surveillance systems., • Soft Skills - Communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, customer service, attention to detail and patience., • Experience - Prior experience in industrial security settings, law enforcement or the military is desirable. All licensed security professionals will be considered., • Physical and Mental Requirements - Must be physically able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks. Must be able to focus, multi-task and handle stressful situations. Vision must be correctable to normal levels.
