    Assistant General Manager – SoHo About the role Guizio is hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager for our SoHo store. You will partner with the General Manager to run the store day to day: driving sales, leading and developing the team, and delivering an elevated client experience that reflects the brand. You will step in as the senior leader on the floor when the GM is out, and own key areas of operations, visual standards and clienteling. • Location: SoHo, New York, NY (on-site), • Schedule: Full-time, including weekends, holidays and some evenings, • Reports to: General Manager Key responsibilities Sales and client experience • Drive the store toward daily, weekly and monthly sales targets; track KPIs such as conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction, • Model and coach a high-touch selling approach on the floor, • Build and grow a client book through clienteling, appointments, follow-ups and personal styling, • Resolve escalated client issues, returns and exchanges with care and good judgment Team leadership • Lead the team on the floor, run morning huddles and set daily goals, • Recruit, onboard and train sales associates with the GM, • Give regular feedback, support performance reviews and develop future leaders, • Build weekly schedules that match coverage to traffic and stay within payroll budget Operations • Open and close the store, including cash handling, POS reconciliation and security procedures, • Oversee receiving, stock replenishment, transfers and inventory counts; keep shrink low, • Maintain stockroom organization and accurate inventory in our systems, • Support omnichannel services such as ship-from-store, online order pickup and returns, • Uphold company policies, loss prevention practices and health and safety standards Visual and brand standards • Execute visual merchandising directives and floor sets on schedule, • Keep the store, fitting rooms and windows looking polished and on-brand at all times, • Share product feedback and client insights with the GM and home office Store leadership • Act as manager on duty and lead the store when the GM is out, • Represent the store at in-store events, launches and community partnerships Qualifications • 3+ years of retail experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally in fashion, luxury or contemporary apparel, • Proven track record of meeting or beating sales goals, • Experience hiring, training and coaching a sales team, • Strong clienteling skills and a genuine passion for fashion and service, • Working knowledge of store operations: POS systems (e.g., Shopify POS), inventory management, cash handling and scheduling, • Clear communicator who stays calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, • Comfortable with retail metrics and using data to guide decisions, • Open availability, including weekends, holidays and evenings, • Able to stand for long periods, climb ladders and lift up to 30 lbs What we offer • Compensation: $75,000 per year, plus a 20% bonus after one year of employment, • Health, dental and vision insurance, • Paid time off and paid sick leave, • Generous employee discount, • Commuter benefits, • Growth and development opportunities with a fast-growing New York brand Guizio is an equal opportunity employer. POSITION SUMMARY The Joe & The Juice Team is looking for a highly motivated, skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. Based in New York City, this role will report into the Senior Manager, Tax, in Copenhagen. The Manager of Tax will be a key member of the tax team, responsible for the day-to-day operations, including the accuracy and timeliness of compliance and tax reporting matters. This position will support direct and indirect tax compliance and tax accounting matters for Joe & The Juice's US and global operations. The role will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to support them with all tax related matters. The role interfaces with partners across the organization, including the Accounting, Treasury, HR, Finance, Real estate & Growth and Legal teams to optimize existing processes, solve business challenges, design new workflows, and implement new technology solutions to drive efficient and accurate reporting. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with third party advisors. You will be a critical member in the development of an adaptive Tax department that continues to scale to support Joe & The Juice's growth goals. The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach towards driving quality results, thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks creatively, and strives to consistently exceed expectations. Primary responsibilities include: • Manage U.S. federal, state and local, and foreign income tax return filings with third party service providers;, • Manage sales and use tax filings, including future registrations;, • Evaluate sales taxability of Joe & the Juice products based on applicable state and local regulations;, • Manage annual extension process, including remittance of payments;, • Maintain documentation of ASC 740 tax positions;, • Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A departments on tax reporting matters;, • Partner with Accounting to ensure transfer pricing agreements are adhered to and appropriately recorded;, • Develop strong relationships and collaboration with the Real Estate & Growth team and build out process for entering new states for tax compliance;, • Partner with Legal to support the drafting and submission of voluntary disclosure agreements;, • Ensure accurate, timely filing of all business-related filings, including franchise, property and commercial rent tax returns;, • Manage inquiries from government authorities, including notice resolution and audits;, • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate the effects of these developments;, • Understand and conduct research on tax issues to support inquires from the business;, • Maintain control environment by adhering to requirements and updating documentation;, • Develop strong relationships with Accounting department to maximize opportunities for automation of data and ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency;, • Identify and implement technological and procedural improvements with a strong commitment to detail;, • Provide ad hoc support on various projects; EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION • 4-6 years working in the corporate tax function and/or a public accounting/tax advisory firm, exposure to international tax or multi-jurisdictional compliance preferred.;, • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field;, • CPA required; MBA or JD with tax concentration a plus;, • Excellent project management skills with proactive approach towards driving quality results;, • Significant experience in ASC 740 and tax related financial reporting;, • Exposure to global transfer pricing rules and regulations are preferred;, • Experience with tax provisioning software and Avalara is a plus, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization and articulate complex information;, • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment with small team., • Compensation- $130,000- $150,000 Joe & the Juice is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
