What You’ll Do As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company, you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly to management. * Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques, ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork. * Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously. * Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws, including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
