Key Responsibilities Lead & Develop Teams • Mentor/inspire a team of GMs, Head Chefs, & café managers—building a strong leadership bench for the future., • Reinforce clear performance expectations and hold teams accountable to results., • Drive succession planning and talent pipelines; identify and accelerate the growth of high-potential managers., • Communicate consistently and effectively across all levels of the organization., • Address team challenges with professionalism and proactive support., • Identify and develop high-potential talent for future leadership roles., • Responsible for hiring and staffing levels across cafés, including exempt & non-exempt team members., • Lead with and model company values, creating a positive and inclusive team culture., • Ensure every café delivers on Tatte’s promise of uncompromising quality, seamless hospitality, and a warm, welcoming environment., • Implement consistent systems and standards across cafés while tailoring support to local market dynamics., • Lead café transitions, contribute to new café openings, and steward district-wide rollouts., • Partner with managers to build effective daily routines and operational accountability., • Ensures Food Safety at all cafes within district, including all food safe processes and standards, and drives immediate resolution to any deviation from standard., • Interface with cross-functional department partners to ensure seamless communication and coordination of deployments and change management activities., • Creates an environment fostering trust, integrity, respect, initiative, accountability, open communication and teamwork., • Own the district P&L: analyze trends, identify growth opportunities, and deliver financial results through operational discipline., • Optimize labor and food costs, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure resources align with demand., • Use metrics and dashboards to drive decision-making and continuous improvement., • Partner closely with HR, Culinary, Training, Marketing, and Facilities to drive district priorities., • Act as a culture-carrier and change agent, ensuring new initiatives are embraced and embedded., • Balance day-to-day execution with long-term development of people and business., • Maintain focus under pressure, adjusting priorities based on changing needs., • Use data, café feedback, and operational reporting to guide decisions and improvements., • 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience (restaurant, café, or hospitality; polished fast casual or full-service preferred)., • Proven success leading high-volume operations and developing managers into senior leaders., • Strong financial acumen with a track record of delivering both margin and top-line growth., • Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and influencing skills; leads through empowerment, not micromanagement., • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as respond to emergencies as required., • Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, stand, sit, walk, squat, or climb stairs for extended periods., • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (B.S. or A.S. preferred)., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)., • Experience with UltiPro (UKG), Toast POS, and CrunchTime/TeamworX systems., • Competitive pay ($115k-$145k+/year, depending on experience with annual bonus potential), • 401(k) (with a vesting match), • Health, dental and vision insurance, • Vacation time (after 1 year of full-time service), • Free employee assistance program services, • Flexible schedule with no late nights, • Free drinks and generously discounted meals
