We are seeking a full-time, on-site Restaurant Manager to join our team at our South Philadelphia location, where PrimoHoagies first got its start. This is a unique opportunity to lead operations at a flagship store that represents the heart and history of our brand. Restaurant Manager Reports to: Director of Company Operations Position Summary The Restaurant Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring outstanding guest experience, sales/transaction progress, restaurant profitability, and consistent execution of brand standards. This role leads the restaurant team, manages costs, and delivers sales and profitability results. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily restaurant operations, including guest service, food quality, speed, and cleanliness, • Hire, train, coach, and develop Assistant Managers and Team Members, • Drive sales growth through local execution, upselling, and guest engagement, • Manage labor scheduling to meet business needs while controlling costs, • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and company standards, • Monitor and manage P&L driverslabor, food cost, waste, and controllables, • Execute company initiatives, promotions, and operational programs, • Maintain a safe, respectful, and high-energy work environment, • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans Success Metrics • Guest satisfaction scores, • Sales and transaction growth, • Labor and food cost performance, • Restaurant cleanliness and audit scores, • Team member retention and engagement Qualifications • 2–5 years of QSR or fast-casual management experience, • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment, • Strong understanding of labor management and cost controls, • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred) Leadership Traits • Hands-on, visible leader, • Strong communicator and coach, • Accountability-driven and results-oriented, • Calm and decisive under pressure Why This Role Is Critical The Restaurant Manager is the single most important leadership role in the restaurant. This position directly impacts guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance every day. Strong execution at this level drives sales growth, cost control, and brand consistency—while poor execution quickly shows up in the guest experience and P&L. This role is also critical to talent development and retention. Restaurant Managers hire, train, and coach the next generation of leaders, building a strong bench that supports long-term growth and operational stability.
