Are you interested in the Arts Education field and looking for a PAID Training Opportunity? You should check out the Teaching Apprentice Program (TAP) at Park Avenue Armory! TAP is a rigorous apprenticeship that introduces skills such as classroom management, public speaking, group facilitation, and lesson plan development, while exploring the foundations of arts education and applications across visual and performing art forms and learning styles. TAP begins with a five-week seminar and workshop observations; outstanding candidates may progress to mentored “field experience” opportunities at Park Avenue Armory. New Country Day Camp is an 8-week, outdoor summer camp for campers in kindergarten-8th grade. NCDC operates M-F, 8am-5pm, and provides transportation for staff and campers to and from our campgrounds on Staten Island via multiple locations throughout Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. NCDC is a neurodiverse camp community, and all staff members are responsible for supporting neurodivergent and neurotypical campers and staff to have successful summers. We are seeking experienced Social Work: Support Supervisors. Support Supervisors play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising our disability-inclusive model that provides extra support to campers with additional social/emotional/behavioral/mental health needs (includes diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADD/ADHD, mood or anxiety disorders, sensory processing issues, etc.). Support Supervisors ensure that all campers can experience the joy of camp in the most inclusive, least restrictive environment possible. Job Description TGA Premier Sports in Bergen County is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises and we NEED COACHES! This posting is specifically for individuals who would love to teach the game of TENNIS to KIDS. We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching kids. TGA uses youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill, while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette. We do it in the comfort of their own school or community. We do all this while making FUN and SAFETY our two top priorities. Coaches can work 1 day per week all the way to 7 days per week, getting 2-5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. We are looking for both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches must be at least 16 years of age. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required. We have programs year round and work with coaches' flexible schedules. We have programs all over Northern Westchester, and will do our best to schedule you close by where you would be driving from.
