Job DescriptionJob Title: Scale TechnicianJob Description The Scale Technician will oversee the scale house operations and ensure production tasks and quality metrics are met. The role involves accurately weighing inbound and outbound loads, recording transaction data, and providing courteous service to drivers, vendors, and internal teams. The technician will ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications while maintaining accurate production, shipping, and inventory records. Responsibilities • Oversee scale house operations., • Ensure production tasks and quality metrics are met., • Accurately weigh inbound and outbound loads., • Record transaction data., • Provide courteous service to drivers, vendors, and internal teams., • Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications., • Maintain accurate production, shipping, and inventory records.Essential Skills, • Experience in weighing operations., • Strong customer service skills., • Operational support and workflow management., • Safety compliance knowledge., • Experience in a scale house or clerk role.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • 1+ years of weighmaster experience., • 1+ years working in an industrial/manufacturing environment., • 3+ years of lead/supervisory experience.Work Environment The position requires working in close quarters with other workers, both indoors and outdoors as needed. Although the environment is climate-controlled, it can become very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The role involves being on your feet most of the time and walking in inclined terrain throughout the site, with occasional visits to other departments. The shift involves day rotations, including every other weekend, with 10-hour days starting at 6:30 AM. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
