Position Overview: The Vice President of Manhattan is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and owning all aspects of the Manhattan Portfolio. Reporting to the Co-Head of Commercial and Industrial with significant interface with NYCEDC's President's Office, this position demands a dynamic and strategic leader experienced in managing and leading large real estate portfolios through development, repositioning and stabilization. In this high-profile position, the Vice President will navigate multifaceted stakeholder environments, driving operational excellence, and leading transformative projects that will have a lasting impact on New York City. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Management and Planning: • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic vision for the Manhattan Portfolio, ensuring alignment with NYCEDC's broader goals of economic development, sustainability, and community impact., • Oversee all aspects of the portfolio, including strategic planning, development, and operations, to maximize its economic potential and community benefits., • Evaluate and then execute upon opportunities for redevelopment within the portfolio, planning for RFPs and/or capital projects to modernize, expand or reposition assets.
