The Senior Community Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, all on-site compliance activities, and for the overall performance of their assigned property as detailed below. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure adherence to laws relating to leasing, including but not limited to Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Fair Credit Reporting Act., • Remains compliant and knowledgeable in all aspects of the HUD 4350.3 Handbook., • Develops responses to regulatory agencies in coordination with the Compliance Department., • Implements intervention strategies with Regional Managers and Compliance Department for tenants who are non-compliant with lease/compliance requirements., • Prepares all site REAC reviews, EHS violations cleared, Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR), Investor Site Reviews, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Reviews, and performs annual and interim recertification reviews., • Assisting tenants with requests, questions, problems, and complaints., • Monitors tenant and complex-wide arrears and litigation cases., • Document lease violations and coordinate evictions., • Direct collection of monthly rents and late fees, process applications, and pursue delinquencies through legal action and eviction. About the Role The Economic Empowerment Specialist (EES) is a core member of Rising Ground’s Paths to Healing Community-Based Services team, which provides holistic, survivor-centered services to individuals impacted by intimate partner violence, gender-based violence, and other forms of trauma. The EES delivers trauma-informed, anti-oppressive economic support, advocacy, and financial empowerment programming that recognizes the deep impact of financial abuse, systemic oppression, and intersectional barriers on a survivor’s path to healing. Through individualized sessions, group workshops, and case coordination, the EES supports survivors in identifying and reaching economic goals such as housing stability, employment, education, budgeting, credit repair, childcare access, and public benefit navigation. The EES collaborates closely with shelter staff, therapists, legal advocates, and housing providers to ensure that survivors experience seamless, wraparound support, whether exiting DV shelters or seeking safety and financial independence in the community. This is a unique opportunity to walk alongside survivors as they reclaim financial autonomy and stability, rebuild trust in systems, and move forward with dignity and power.
