Job Description • Generate Clear and concise Non-conformance Reports, • Able to work overtime, • Preference will be given to candidates with prior machinist experience, • Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented, • Reliable and dependable, • Positive customer focused attitude, • Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment, • Honest with stellar integrity, • Professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations, • Flexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change often, • Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T, • Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including CMM, Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc, • Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material parts, • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that aerospace products meet pre-defined standards of quality, • Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the onset, • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, • Design and execute testing processes for product verification, including setting up of testing equipment and instrumentation, • Analyze data from testing processes to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems, • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and develop corrective and preventive action plans, • Maintain compliance with national and international quality standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001, • Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations based on findings, • Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audit finding reports, • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data to improve product manufacturing, • Review suppliers’ purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements, • Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards, • Assembly/Manufacturing Experience, • Aerospace, • Problem Solving, • Sense of UrgencyCompany DescriptionSavage Precision Fabrication, Inc., located in Wylie, Texas, is a veteran- and Native American-owned precision metal fabrication and CNC machining company with over 50 years of proven excellence.
