Job Summary The Marketing Coordinator - Communications will support our B2B marketing team by executing and coordinating marketing initiatives in the fast-paced telecom industry, including event coordination, content development, agency collaboration, and account-based marketing programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended to reflect all duties performed. Community, Partnerships & B2B Sales Support · Support internal Sales, Marketing, and external partners with marketing strategies for events, tradeshows, projects, and initiatives. · Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, integrating into key Business‑to‑Business (B2B) and building‑focused organizations to ensure Ziply Fiber has a consistent and visible presence in the community. · Open doors with sales teams to drive sales and B2B penetration rates across the geographic territory and in targeted businesses. · Maintain a competitive overview of a given geography/territory. Event & Field Marketing Execution · Research, plan, coordinate, and staff regional marketing events and sponsorships. · Assist in ideation and execution of creative activation ideas for promotions and events to drive sales in businesses. · Support event logistics, including vendor coordination and promotional materials. · This position does require night and weekends availability to support event schedules. Some travel is required for events. Marketing Campaigns, Content & Agency Support · Assist in Direct Marketing campaigns, projects, or initiatives in various channels and/or forms. · Assist in creating marketing content, including blogs, sales collateral, and email campaigns. · Support coordination with external marketing agencies, including assisting with briefs, content reviews, timelines, and deliverable tracking. · Assist with execution and optimization of account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns using tools such as 6sense, including account research, campaign setup support, and performance tracking. Internal Operations, Collaboration & Administrative Support · Work closely with team members in the Marketing department, helping with logistics and administrative tasks as needed to execute marketing projects effectively and successfully. · Manage department editorial calendar and assist with budget review and approval process. · Participate in team meetings and collaborate across departments to align messaging and execution. · Responsibilities may expand to include additional projects, platforms, and initiatives based on business needs, performance, and demonstrated capability. Other Duties · Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization. Required Qualifications: · High School Diploma or GED. · Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent reporting and forecasting abilities. High attention to detail is essential. · Passionate about and thrive in a culture of learning and teaching. · Ability to challenge yourself, adapt, and continuously improve while empowering colleagues through knowledge sharing. · Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience working with, selling to, or marketing for businesses is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations. · Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines. · Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. · Ability to work within critical deadlines. · Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules. · Ability to provide excellent customer service.
