Position Summary: The Vice President of Underground Infrastructure, you will lead one of the Company's most essential division, shaping the future of underground utility construction across their markets. The leadership role carries full responsibility of operational performance, business growth, and team leadership within the division. Our client are seeking a visionary leader with strong civil engineering and/or construction background with a proven ability to manage complex utility projects. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: • Define and execute the division's growth strategy, with a focus on expanding services and market share in underground utilities., • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with municipalities, utility companies, engineers, and contractors., • Drive sustainable revenue growth through proactive business development., • Oversee preconstruction, estimating, and contract negotiations ensuring competitive advantage and profitability., • Ensure flawless execution of underground utility projects, including gas, water, sewer, and storm systems., • Champion best practices in project management, safety, and quality control., • Recruit, mentor, and develop, a high-performance team of civil and utility professionals., • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence., • Provie clear direction while empowering teams to achieve ambitious goals. Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in leadership experience., • Proven background in civil engineering or civil construction experience with a focus on underground utilities (gas, water, sewer, storm, or related)., • 10+ years of progressive leadership roles, with a proven record of managing large-scale utility or infrastructure projects., • Deep understanding and SME of construction methods, industry regulations, and safety standards., • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing P&L, and leading operational improvements., • Possesses an executive presence, strong communicator and decision-maker who can engage confidently with clients, stakeholders, and internal team., • Strategic mindset, results driven, and committed to building lasting infrastructure and high-performing teams., • Travel requirements as needed, approx. 25%., • Health, dental, & vision insurance, • Bonus, • Profit Sharing Retirement Plan, • PTO, • Paid Holidays Our client is committed to helping their teammates grow their careers through the combination of coursework, demonstrating leadership skills and open opportunities.
