Job Description Job Description The LVN provides direct patient care, medication support, and clinical coordination while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role regularly travels to various Los Angeles-area clinics to support daily operations, assist with triage, and help maintain a safe and efficient patient environment. Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 5am - 130pm / on call as needed Responsibilities/ Job Duties: • Support daily clinical operations, including receiving, storing, reconciling, and dispensing medications in accordance with federal and state regulations., • Accurately maintain patient medication records, lab results, dosage logs, and other required documentation., • Administer medications, monitor patients for side effects, and document all treatments in patient charts., • Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure processes at all medication dispensing and patient interaction points., • Provide medication administration and communication support for patients hospitalized locally when directed., • Submit reports, forms, and clinical documentation to the Medical Director or Clinic Manager as required., • Assist with patient onboarding, including orientation to program procedures and participation in intake processes., • Perform venipuncture, collect laboratory specimens, and prepare exam rooms and medication areas., • Assist with internal/external reporting requirements, fee collection, and completion of superbills for services rendered., • Serve as a liaison with community partners, health agencies, and other external stakeholders as needed., • Support clinic operations by monitoring patient flow, maintaining a safe environment, and upholding all security protocols., • Observe urine collections when required and participate in case conferences or team meetings., • Collect research or program data as needed and complete all assigned trainings in a timely manner., • Active and current California nursing or technical license (RN, LVN, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician) with valid CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications., • Valid driver's license in good standing and insurability through the organization's carrier, as the position requires regular driving for work purposes., • Ability to travel frequently-up to 75%-to support various clinic locations throughout the Los Angeles region., • Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances), • Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
