Job Description Summary: As Centura’s Training Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving the firm’s long-term success by designing and delivering high-impact training programs that deepen technical mastery across advanced tax strategies, complex wealth transfer planning, alternative investments, consultative sales and more. Through collaboration with advisors, firm leadership, and internal and external experts, you will cultivate a scalable learning environment that equips our team members to deliver unparalleled service to our ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and high-net-worth (HNW) clients. Primary Responsibilities: Training Program Development • Design and execute a comprehensive training roadmap that supports Centura’s mission, growth objectives, and UHNW/HNW service model., • Build scalable, repeatable learning structures that strengthen advisor excellence and operational consistency., • Adjust the training program as the firm expands into new markets, introduces new service offerings, adopts new technology, or enhances the UHNW/HNW client experience., • Build training around Centura’s internal processes, such as client review processes, plan updates, alternative investment workflows, compliance requirements, and tax strategies., • Conduct training needs analysis across departments, • Track performance metrics and skill progression, • Refine curriculum based on advisor needs, industry changes, and firm strategy, • Build compliance awareness and regulatory updates into training programs to ensure all advisors operate with the highest standards of fiduciary care., • Design structured development pathways for each department and individual role to equip team members with the training, resources, and support needed to advance their skills and achieve their long-term career goals., • Create SOPs, templates, toolkits, playbooks, videos, and e-learning modules to set up team members for success., • Develop tiered learning programs (Foundational ? Intermediate ? Advanced ? Expert), • Create structured curriculum for core platforms such as CRM, planning software, custodial systems, workflow automation, and reporting tools. Ensure efficient adoption and consistent usage firmwide., • Create training modules to help advisors effectively collaborate with COIs (attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, and outside specialists) who serve UHNW/HNW clients., • Develop digital training modules, on-demand videos, microlearning lessons, and reference guides to support self-directed learning and reinforcement., • Deliver high-impact virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning series., • Coach advisors on complex tax, estate, investment and insurance needs, • Facilitate workshops that leverage real-world scenarios, advanced planning case studies, and multi-disciplinary problem-solving exercises to deepen advisor understanding of UHNW/HNW client complexities., • Provide 1:1 and group coaching to advisors and operations staff., • Deliver ongoing training related to Centura’s core technology stack, including CRM systems, financial planning platforms, analytical tools, portfolio systems, and workflow automation tools., • Teach planning, asset management, and insurance strategies to ensure consistency and excellence across the firm., • Conduct Continuing Education-eligible courses and partner with internal/external subject matter experts to deliver specialized sessions on emerging planning techniques, regulatory updates, tax law changes, and industry shifts., • Lead internal strategy sessions, learning circles, lunch-and-learn events, and technical deep dives that encourage knowledge sharing and team development., • Deliver training programs that strengthen the leadership skills of managers, team leads and emerging leaders within the firm., • Facilitate learning experiences that strengthen collaboration between Advisory, Operations, Investments, Compliance, and Client Service departments. Promote alignment, shared goals, and unified workflows., • Facilitate team-building workshops, retreats, and collaborative sessions that strengthen trust, communication, and cohesion across leadership and departmental teams. Technical Knowledge • Deep understanding of wealth management concepts, including:, • Advanced tax planning, • Estate and wealth transfer strategies, • Trust structures and multi-generational planning, • Alternative investments (private equity, private credit, and private real estate), • Portfolio construction and risk management, • Familiarity with UHNW client needs, • Strong instructional design capabilities, with the ability to build structured, scalable training programs., • Ability to convert complex technical content into clear, digestible learning materials tailored to different audiences and roles., • Skilled in adult learning principles, curriculum development, and blended learning formats (live, virtual, e-learning, microlearning)., • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners across all levels of the firm., • Strong written communication skills for creating training guides, playbooks, SOPs, and reference materials., • Capability to analyze training needs, skill gaps, and performance data to design targeted development solutions., • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate UHNW planning scenarios, workflows, and processes., • Excellent planning, prioritization, and project management abilities, with skill managing multiple training initiatives simultaneously., • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments (Advisory, Operations, Investments, Compliance) to ensure alignment and effectiveness., • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including advisors, managers, executives, and support staff., • Ability to influence, motivate, and empower individuals who have diverse levels of technical expertise., • Commitment to staying current on tax law changes, planning innovations, industry trends, and best practices., • Ability to adapt training programs as the firm evolves, grows, or expands into new service areas., • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Education, Psychology or related field required., • Advanced planning credentials strongly preferred (CFP®, CFA®, CAIA®, JD, LLM or similar)., • Instructional design training or adult learning methodology experience, • 5+ years in wealth management working specifically with the UHNW / HNW, • Demonstrated understanding of tax planning, estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and investment structures for UHNW clients., • Deep understanding of alternative investments in private equity, private credit, and private real estate, • Communication, • Results-Oriented, • Teamwork, • Influencing Others, • Adaptability, • Emotional Intelligence, • Relationship Building, • Vulnerability, • Project Management We achieve this by focusing on our clients' needs, upholding the highest ethical standards, fostering a tradition of quality, and investing in the individuals who, together, form our team.
