The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) invites applications for a clinical faculty position with expertise and interest in medical education, general infectious diseases, HIV, and inpatient as well as outpatient clinical care. The successful candidate will care for patients receiving cellular immunotherapies (such as CAR T-cells), including pre- and post-infusion, develop clinical standards and guidelines for patients receiving these therapies, and provide oversight of clinical operations and clinical research related to cellular immunotherapies for pediatric oncology patients. They will collaborate with investigators at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the NCI-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICC) to develop and/or participate in PI-initiated clinical trials of novel immunotherapeutic treatments, and will be expected to oversee a robust pediatric clinical trials portfolio that will also include consortium and industry-sponsored trials.
