The unit manages patients pre and post kidney, liver, and kidney/pancreas transplants as well as other overflow specialties. There are 5 stepdown beds to closely monitor transplant patients with arterial lines and specialized drips. Job Description Summary The Acute Dialysis Unit provides inpatient dialysis services at 2 locations: MUSC Main Hospital has a 10-bed unit located on the fifth floor of the Main Hospital Building. Ashley River Tower and Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital is supported with a 4-bed unit located on the 6th floor of ART. Service is provided 24/7.
