Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrical Foreman Job Description The Electrical Foreman oversees the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in water treatment plants and other industrial and commercial facilities. This role leads hands-on work in the field, ensures projects follow electrical codes and safety standards, and interprets blueprints and schematics to guide accurate and efficient installations. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in water treatment plants and other industrial and commercial settings., • Bend and install conduit, including EMT and rigid conduit, to meet project specifications and electrical codes., • Install and oversee ductbank systems, ensuring proper layout, depth, and protection of electrical infrastructure., • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute installations accurately., • Run rigid conduit and pull wire to complete electrical circuits and systems according to design requirements., • Work across industrial and commercial job sites, adapting to varying project scopes, conditions, and timelines., • Apply strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective, safe solutions., • Use appropriate electrical tools, equipment, and materials to complete construction and installation tasks., • Collaborate with team members and other trades on-site to coordinate work and maintain project schedules., • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe job site., • Travel to project locations as required, with mileage reimbursement available for qualifying nearby projects.Essential Skills, • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician., • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures used in industrial and commercial environments., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams., • Hands-on experience with conduit installation, including conduit bending, running conduit, and installing EMT and rigid conduit., • Experience pulling wire and completing electrical installations on construction sites., • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving electrical issues., • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with crew members and other trades., • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access various job sites., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods during daily tasks., • Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments., • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Journeyman electrician license preferred., • Previous experience working in water treatment plants or similar industrial facilities is beneficial., • Demonstrated ability to lead tasks on-site and coordinate with others in a construction environment., • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures and standards.Why Work Here? Personal protective equipment is required at all times on-site, including a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed or composite boots, a safety vest, and gloves. Work schedules may include weekday and weekend availability, and mileage reimbursement is available for certain nearby project locations. The environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and highly collaborative, with regular interaction among electricians, other trades, and project teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
