Position Description: Hospitality Team Position Objective: Hospitality Team Members are the welcoming face of Ocaquatics Swim School. They create a positive first impression for every family, deliver an exceptional in-person and phone experience, and guide families through enrollment and their ongoing journey with our program. Hospitality Team Members should have excellent communication skills, a warm and friendly demeanor, and the ability to work under pressure. This role combines hospitality, customer service, and sales, ensuring every family feels supported, informed, and confident in their decision to swim with Ocaquatics. Position Dimensions: Report to the Location General Manager; Responsible to the Regional Manager. Position Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): • Family Experience & Hospitality, • Greet every family with warmth, energy, and professionalism, • Create a welcoming and organized environment at all times, • Deliver a consistent and exceptional first-time experience for new families, • Assist families with questions, concerns, and general support throughout their visit, • Represent the Ocaquatics brand with a friendly, positive, and professional tone 2. Enrollment & Sales • Guide families through the enrollment process with confidence and care, • Recommend appropriate class levels, schedules, and frequency to support faster progress, • Educate families on the value of consistency and ongoing swim lessons, • Support enrollment growth by converting inquiries, tours, and evaluations into active customers, • Encourage participation in promotions, events, and additional programs 3. Communication & Follow-Up • Follow up with prospective families, evaluations, and first-time visits in a timely manner, • Maintain clear, professional, and friendly communication via phone and in person, • Partner with leadership to address family concerns and ensure a positive experience, • Communicate important updates to the Manager on Duty and Deck Team (new swimmers, concerns, changes, etc.) 4. Systems & Operations • Accurately use iClassPro to manage enrollments, attendance, notes, and family accounts, • Ensure all student information, waivers, and payments are current and complete, • Process registrations, transfers, and account updates, • Maintain detailed and accurate account notes, • Promote and educate families on app usage (absences, makeups, account management) 5. Daily Operations • Prepare roll sheets and support daily class readiness, • Ensure swimmers receive correct bracelets and are properly checked in, • Assist with boutique sales and maintain organization and inventory, • Maintain cleanliness of lobby, bathrooms, and common areas, • Support opening and closing procedures, including register management 6. Safety & Awareness • Maintain a safe environment for all families, swimmers, and team members, • Enforce safety guidelines within the facility (walking, supervision, etc.), • Remain alert and report any unusual situations to leadership, • Be prepared to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations 7. Teamwork • Work collaboratively with all team members to create a positive environment, • Support teammates during busy periods and throughout the shift, • Contribute to a culture of accountability, respect, and growth 8. Position Standards • Maintain professional conduct at all times, • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Safety: Safety is #1 priority. Physical Requirements: Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift at least 50 pounds. Violation of this policy is grounds for immediate termination of employment and/or legal action., • Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Clause: I understand that team members are not to divulge any company, co-worker, or clientele information to outsiders without the approval from management. We protect our confidential business information and proprietary information. Office, teaching, and training materials are protected by copyright. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to:, • Policies and Procedures, • Swimming Lesson Curriculum and Lesson Plans, • Training Program, • Customer Lists and Information, • Team member Files and Information, • Team member Handbook, • I understand that photos and videos are taken at Ocaquatics facilities and that any photo may be used for internal marketing to our families (e-newsletters, announcement TV, social media, etc.). I understand that Ocaquatics may use my photo for outside publicity purposes (car wrap, postcards, advertisements, etc.).Requirements:
