American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Long Beach, California. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 11/10/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital environment, • Patient populations include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, • Specialized procedures include laser-assisted interventions, angioplasty, biopsies, stent placements, and embolizations, • Experience with procedures such as ERCP, paracentesis, thoracentesis, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, and vascular colure systems, • Equipment includes Omnicell medication system, • Electronic documentation is required, • Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, • Call required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month, • Weekend coverage every third weekend, • Candidates may float within the hospital based on census needs, • Scrubs are provided for all staff, • Modules must be completed during orientation with hours varying by specialty, • Epic EMR training is provided as part of onboarding, • No previous permanent staff within the facility may apply, • First-time travelers will be considered only with sufficient experience, • Time-off requests must be less than 5 days and must be presented at the time of application, • One reference from the last 2 years is required for consideration, • Locals are accepted under different pay structure\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience required, • Previous travel experience required, • Current CA state license required for consideration, • Certifications required: ARRT R, CCI RCIS, BLS, and ACLS, • Proficiency in a broad range of interventional and special procedures, • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and maintain sterile field in scrub role, • Experience with Omnicell medication system, • License required if applicable\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
