American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/09/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with 3 procedure rooms and 1 hybrid OR, • Setting includes both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs, • Adult cardiac patient population with a focus on advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures, • Procedures performed include cardiac stent placement, IABP and Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, rotablader athrectomy, temporary pacemaker insertion, and ventricular assist device insertion, • Preferred experience with OCT, PA line insertion, TAVI/TAVR, and Watchman procedures, • Equipment used includes fluoroscopy and Siemens systems, • Medication system is Pyxis, and documentation is completed in Epic and McKesson; Epic experience is required, • Day shifts (3x12 hours) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, • Call required, typically 6 evenings and 1 weekend per 6 weeks; 30-minute response time required, • Floating between facilities within the state may be required, • Key responsibilities include equipment setup, monitoring, vascular access site prep, EKG lead placement, and vascular closure system management, • Expected to use SBAR for communication and observe isolation precautions, • All travelers must be prepared to float among all facilities within the state as needed, • Must respond to on-call within 30 minutes as a standard requirement, • Scrubs are provided, • Returning former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility, • Limited RTO may be approved; excessive time off may hinder job consideration\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a diagnostic or interventional cardiac cath lab, • Current certifications and licenses required if applicable, • Epic EMR experience required, • Experience with cardiac interventional and diagnostic procedures such as stent placement, IABP, Impella, and pacemaker insertion, • Proficiency with fluoroscopy and Siemens equipment, • Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and maintain sterile field as scrub, • Must have two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years in related specialty, • This unit does not accept first-time travelers\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
