Knowledge of several alloys required. Duties And Responsibilities: 1: Fit and weld sheet metal with TIG and MIG process. 1. Prep and finish welds. 3: Produce quality product and inspect per drawing. 4: Read and understand mechanical blueprints. 5: Maintain a clean work area. 6: Follow written and verbal instructions. Requirements: 1: 5-7 Years’ Experience welding. 2: Experience with GMAW from 18ga up to 1/2" thick mild steel. 1. Experience with GTAW from 0.030" up to 1/2" aluminum and stainless. 4: Ability follow direction. 5: Full understanding of fit-up process. 6: Ability to use calipers, tape measure, and other QC tools and equipment 7: Must be detail oriented, punctual, and a team player 8: Able to act on own initiative and work as part of a team consisting of members from other departments. 9: Excellent communication skills, comfortable discussing technical requirements with a client. You should be proficient in: • Blueprint Reading, • GMAW Welding, • GTAW Welding, • Weld Fit-up, • Thin gauge welding

Job DescriptionWelderTemp to Hire $20 - $24/hr Hours: 6am – 4pm with a 1 hour lunch Mon – Thurs and 6am to 10am on Friday MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS 1. Perform welding tasks in the manufacture of products to conform with specifications and certification requirements 1. Weld production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG and/or MIG 1. May operate program welding machine to weld production units, 2. Set up fixtures and lay out work for production and prototype piece parts, 3. Trouble shoot problem welding areas, 4. May train other welders and/or provide welding support to others as needed, 5. May work with various internal departments to establish welding process parameters, 6. Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product 1. Participate in continuous improvement processes, 2. Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures, 3. Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area, 4. Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision, 5. Perform work of a miscellaneous nature as required Welding Test: • The Test: 1G open root on 3” sch. 80 316ss (Minimum). If candidate passes this test we will move to 6G, • Growth: 6G proficiency will be required in the future
