In the context of structural optimization, digitalization, and cultural evolution, the company is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Regional Head for Europe, based in Barcelona. This role will be instrumental in redefining the people strategy across the region, acting as a strategic business partner during a period of significant change. The mission is to lead restructuring processes, drive operational efficiency, and support senior business leadership in implementing a transformation agenda aligned with global objectives. The position operates at a regional CHRO‑equivalent level, with high exposure to senior leadership and governance bodies. Key Responsibilities: • Define and implement the HR strategy for Europe, aligned with business goals and the global people agenda., • Lead organizational restructuring, cost optimization, and simplification of structures., • Act as a strategic partner to the business, supporting senior regional leadership and the Global HR function in key decision‑making., • Foster a culture of engagement, meritocracy, and development through leadership, training, and internal communication programs., • Create a strong talent pipeline through initiatives such as Talent Review and Young Talent Programs., • Design and implement leadership and training programs to elevate top and middle management and support long‑term organizational development., • Establish compensation and performance management policies to retain key talent and drive results., • Drive HR digitalization and process‑efficiency initiatives., • Manage employee relations and labor‑relations matters across a multicultural and geographically distributed environment., • Coordinate wellbeing, diversity, safety, and compliance initiatives across the region (e.g., data protection)., • Promote actions that enhance cost efficiency while maintaining employee engagement., • Provide end‑to‑end HR leadership across both commercial and industrial environments within the region, supporting complex workforce transitions., • Develop and oversee advanced workforce‑planning models in matrix and shared‑service environments., • Lead the implementation of emerging people‑related regulatory frameworks at European level., • Support major organizational changes impacting structures, operations, and regional set‑ups, in close collaboration with business and operations leaders. Requirements (Mandatory): • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 8–10 years in senior HR leadership roles., • Proven experience leading HR at regional or multi‑country level within Europe or comparable complex geographies., • Demonstrated track record in organizational restructuring and transformation processes, including cost optimization and organizational redesign., • Previous experience interacting with Executive Committees, regional boards or steering committees, supporting high‑level business decision‑making., • Strong balance between strategic vision and operational, hands‑on execution., • Solid expertise in labor relations, conflict resolution, compensation and rewards, and leadership‑development programs., • Experience in industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing‑based organizations is mandatory., • Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory; additional European languages (Spanish, French, German or similar) are highly valued., • Strong analytical capabilities, with hands‑on experience using HR data and tools such as Excel and familiarity with Power BI, SuccessFactors or SAP., • Availability to travel across Europe (approximately 25% of the time).
