Your Role The Local HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for implementing and, where necessary, adapting the global HR strategy to the local context in order to effectively support site and scope performance. Acting as a strategic partner to leaders and managers, the HRBP supports them in building, developing, and engaging high‑performing teams while ensuring compliance, fairness, and high‑quality HR practices. As a trusted and accessible HR reference at the local level, the role directly contributes to a positive employee experience, employee retention and development, the maintenance of a healthy social climate, and the success of organizational transformations. In close collaboration with HR Operations Service Solutions and the Centers of Expertise (CoEs), the Local HRBP plays a central role in deploying efficient, consistent, and high‑impact HR processes and acts as a key link between HR strategy and operational realities. Scope & Stakeholder Management HR responsibility for approximately 200 employees across 4 locations: two industrial plants, located in Parets del Valles and Cervera, and two offices located in Barcelona. Provide HR support and advice to 20-35 managers. Act as the primary HR point of contact for the local leadership team, serving as a trusted advisor on strategic and operational HR topics. Partner with regional / cluster leadership (EAME) to understand and support local business strategy and objectives. Strategic HR & Workforce Management Contribute to the development and implementation of the local HR strategy, in close alignment with the Regional HR Business Partner and global HR priorities. Own and drive local Strategic Workforce Planning, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and corporate objectives. Ensure accurate headcount planning and reporting at segment and divisional level, in collaboration with HR Operations and HRIS & Analytics CoE. Develop and analyze people analytics at local level to support data‑driven decision making and business insights. Facilitate and communicate the cascading of global and regional organizational changes to the local level. Employee Relations & Social Climate Advise and support local leaders in creating and maintaining a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment. Act as the point of contact for complex and sensitive employee relations matters, managing cases and disputes as required. Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, grievance procedures, and performance‑related issues. Lead day‑to‑day union and employee relations management, ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Promote and support health, wellbeing, and safety initiatives at site level. Talent Management Collaborate with the Talent Management CoE and Regional HRBP to implement and continuously improve Talent Management programs, including: • Performance Management, • Leadership and Employee Development, • Succession Planning, • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, • Change Management Provide strategic HR input to the assigned Talent Acquisition Partner to support targeted recruitment strategies. Support the annual salary review and merit process. Contribute to calibration discussions and compensation adjustments at function or departmental level as required. About you • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline., • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years as a Senior HR Business Partner leading local HR strategies within a multinational or complex matrix organization., • Very strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and proven ability to apply it effectively in a business environment., • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience leveraging HR data and people analytics to identify trends, generate insights, and support informed strategic decisions., • Demonstrated experience in change management, supporting organizations and leaders through transformation., • Ability to build trusted relationships and deeply understand the needs of managers and employees across all levels of the organization., • High level of stress resilience, with the ability to maintain clarity of thought, manage emotions effectively, and make sound decisions in complex or uncertain situations., • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, acting as a strong interface between HR and the business., • Strong capability to build and maintain senior‑level relationships with both internal and external stakeholders., • Solid business acumen and strategic mindset, enabling alignment of HR priorities and initiatives with overall business objectives., • High degree of cultural sensitivity, with the ability to operate effectively in a diverse and multinational environment., • Extensive experience in council and employee representative relations, demonstrating strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict‑management skills., • Proven ability to address and resolve workplace conflicts in a professional, fair, and effective manner., • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as Catalan, French or German are considered an advantage., • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
