    Functions and Tasks Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is looking for a highly motivated student currently enrolled in academic studies who wishes to undertake a management internship within our Rooms Division team for Southern Europe at our central offices in Barcelona. The responsibilities of the position include the following tasks: • Operational Control Support: Collaborate in the organization and coordination of the Rooms Division departments at a corporate level. Assist in establishing and supervising operational policies to ensure efficiency across all hotels. Occasionally conduct periodic operational audits to ensure compliance with service standards. Ensure and follow up on improvement action plans opened in audited hotels. Review and coordinate the implementation of new technologies in the hotels. Review and control SOPs and collaborate in the development of operational protocols for the assigned departments. • Financial Control Support: Prepare end-of-month reports to monitor the financial results of departmental expense accounts. Collaborate in the creation of improvement strategies as needed. Supervise the implementation of cost‑control policies across all hotels. Monitor and analyze the evolution of costs and participate in the creation of reports for senior management. Monitor compliance with financial objectives and follow up directly with hotels for the implementation of improvement actions. • Quality Control Support: Prepare reports to monitor and track the evolution of hotel quality results. Collaborate in active training for the Housekeeping Management team to develop team capabilities. Follow up on audits and inspections carried out by hotel management. Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction at a regional level. Occasionally conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Collaborate in the creation of standards and support manuals for the teams. Required Profile: Academic Background: Preferably in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, or a Master’s degree related to the sector. Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. Desired Profile: Enthusiastic about learning, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks. General Information** Location: Barcelona Central Services Conditions: Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extending for an additional 6 months. Schedule: Full-time. Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:30, and Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. Monthly Compensation: €700. Monthly Meal Voucher: €112.     ¿Qué tendrás que hacer? Responsabilidades Principales • Con dependencia funcional del Director Regional / Corporativo de Ingeniería. • Responsabilidad integral sobre la operación técnica y de mantenimiento de las instalaciones, garantizando el cumplimiento de: Estándares de marca (Minor Hotels / NH) • Requisitos legales y normativos en España • Asegurar el correcto funcionamiento, fiabilidad y ciclo de vida de todos los activos técnicos: A. Planificar y supervisar los programas de mantenimiento preventivo, predictivo y correctivo, mediante CMMS. • Custodiar y mantener toda la documentación legal, licencias e inspecciones reglamentarias. • Elaborar y controlar los presupuestos de OPEX y CAPEX del departamento. •Liderar proyectos de renovación, reformas técnicas y adecuaciones a estándares de marca. • Gestionar procesos de licitación: selección de proveedores, negociación, supervisión y control de calidad. • Impulsar iniciativas de eficiencia energética, sostenibilidad y ESG, incluyendo seguimiento de consumos. • Garantizar el estricto cumplimiento de seguridad, PCI y planes de emergencia. • Liderar y desarrollar el equipo de Ingeniería: A. Development of all stationery and communication/marketing materials required for each restaurant. Digital Communication Supervise publications, materials, and shootings. We are now in the process of opening Riela 02 We are looking for a Manager to fully own daily operations in Riela 01 and 02 Madrid. This role is about leadership, structure, and execution.
