    Functions and Tasks Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is looking for a highly motivated student currently enrolled in academic studies who wishes to undertake a management internship within our Rooms Division team for Southern Europe at our central offices in Barcelona. The responsibilities of the position include the following tasks: • Operational Control Support: Collaborate in the organization and coordination of the Rooms Division departments at a corporate level. Assist in establishing and supervising operational policies to ensure efficiency across all hotels. Occasionally conduct periodic operational audits to ensure compliance with service standards. Ensure and follow up on improvement action plans opened in audited hotels. Review and coordinate the implementation of new technologies in the hotels. Review and control SOPs and collaborate in the development of operational protocols for the assigned departments. • Financial Control Support: Prepare end-of-month reports to monitor the financial results of departmental expense accounts. Collaborate in the creation of improvement strategies as needed. Supervise the implementation of cost‑control policies across all hotels. Monitor and analyze the evolution of costs and participate in the creation of reports for senior management. Monitor compliance with financial objectives and follow up directly with hotels for the implementation of improvement actions. • Quality Control Support: Prepare reports to monitor and track the evolution of hotel quality results. Collaborate in active training for the Housekeeping Management team to develop team capabilities. Follow up on audits and inspections carried out by hotel management. Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction at a regional level. Occasionally conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Collaborate in the creation of standards and support manuals for the teams. Required Profile: Academic Background: Preferably in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, or a Master’s degree related to the sector. Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. Desired Profile: Enthusiastic about learning, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks. General Information** Location: Barcelona Central Services Conditions: Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extending for an additional 6 months. Schedule: Full-time. Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:30, and Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. Monthly Compensation: €700. Monthly Meal Voucher: €112. TEMPORAL - CONTRATO SUSTITUCIÓN DE LARGA DURACIÓN ¿Qué tendrás que hacer? Aplicar los tratamientos y rituales de Anantara Spa siguiendo los protocolos y estándares establecidos por la marca. Cumplir con las políticas, procedimientos y normas operativas del departamento de Spa. Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas de higiene, sanidad y seguridad en todas las áreas de trabajo. Realizar tratamientos corporales utilizando exfoliaciones, envolturas, hidroterapia y técnicas especializadas. Ejecutar tratamientos faciales, masajes, manicuras y pedicuras utilizando los productos adecuados en cada servicio.Identificar las necesidades de cada cliente y valorar posibles contraindicaciones antes de iniciar cualquier tratamiento. Mantenerse actualizado sobre nuevas técnicas, terapias y tendencias del sector wellness y spa. Recibir al cliente en la recepción del Spa y acompañarlo a la cabina de tratamiento correspondiente. Cumplir con los estándares Leading Hotels of the World, asegurando una atención personalizada durante toda la experiencia.Velar por el confort del cliente, adaptando el servicio a sus preferencias y necesidades específicas. Mantener las cabinas y zonas de trabajo ordenadas, limpias y preparadas para cada tratamiento. Esterilizar y cuidar adecuadamente las herramientas, utensilios y equipos técnicos utilizados. Garantizar que todo el material necesario esté preparado antes del inicio de cada servicio. Gestionar correctamente la secuencia diaria de tratamientos y la planificación de cabinas. Promocionar y recomendar tratamientos, servicios complementarios y productos de retail del Spa. Detectar oportunidades de venta adicional ofreciendo soluciones adaptadas a cada cliente. Ofrecer un servicio profesional, cercano y orientado a la excelencia en todo momento. Asegurar que los tratamientos cumplen las expectativas y requisitos de calidad establecidos. Colaborar activamente con el resto del equipo para garantizar una experiencia integral al cliente. Reportar incidencias, necesidades operativas o sugerencias de mejora a la dirección del Spa. Formación en masajes, estética o terapias de bienestar. Nivel alto de español e inglés, tanto oral como escrito. Se valorarán conocimientos de ruso u otros idiomas adicionales.
