Role: Network Engineer level2 (Backfill) Location: Pringy-France Duration: 4th to 15th May 21st, 22nd and 25th May 📌 Roles & Responsibilities – Level 2 Network Engineer (Backfill) • Provide L2 support for LAN / WAN / WLAN network environments, • Configure, monitor, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and access points, • Troubleshoot network incidents related to connectivity, routing, switching, VPN, and performance issues, • Perform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and patch management on network devices, • Support DHCP, DNS, VLAN, TCP/IP, and wireless network services, • Monitor network performance, bandwidth, and availability using monitoring tools, • Handle incident, request, and change management tickets within SLA timelines, • Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacement, RMA, and advanced troubleshooting, • Support site network setups, rack installations, and cabling activities, • Configure and maintain network security policies on firewalls and VPN devices, • Assist in implementation of new network projects, migrations, and upgrades, • Provide remote support for branch offices and onsite engineers during network tasks, • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP address records, and asset inventory, • Support conference room AV / network connectivity issues when required, • Work closely with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams, • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and emergency support when required, • Document incidents, root cause analysis, and resolutions for future reference ⭐ Good to Have Skills • Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Layer 1 / Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking, • Hands & Feet support for routers, switches, firewalls, and servers, • Experience with Cisco / Aruba / Juniper / Fortinet / HP devices, • Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), • VLAN creation, trunking, STP, port security configuration, • Wireless controller and access point support, • Rack mounting, stacking, labeling, and patch panel management, • Console access, device reboot, cable / SFP insertion & replacement, • Basic server/network monitoring tools experience, • ITIL / Ticketing tools knowledge (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy), • Data Center support experience (Compute, Storage, Network), • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
