Role: IT Support Engineer Backfill Location: Bourg-en-Bresse, France Duration: Need 1 year Backfill support Engineer 📌 Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software/applications, • Work with OEM vendors for spare replacement, hardware repairs, and troubleshooting, • Provide EUC (End User Computing) support, • Manage IT inventory and assets, • Perform imaging of laptops and desktops, • Printer installation and management, • Support conference room issues and vendor coordination for setup, • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets, • Support mobile devices and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers, • Provide VIP support with high-touch service, • Manage AV / conferencing technologies, • Install and manage network/shared printers, • Provide Office 365 support, • Handle compliance software installation and troubleshooting, • Maintain strong communication with users and stakeholders, • Good knowledge of DHCP and DNS, • Coordinate vendor support and assist with procurement, • Support macOS devices, • Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLA), • Support meetings, events, and after-hours activities when required, • Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference ⭐ Good to Have Skills • L1 level network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity, • Hands & Feet support to backend teams for Network / Server / Application issues, • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues, • Labelling racks and devices, • Server mounting / movement, • Hands & Feet support for Data Center environments (Compute, Storage, Backup, Network), • Physical support for servers, network devices, and storage equipment, • Device reboot, console connection, cable/SFP removal & insertion, cable replacement, • Racking / stacking activities 📌 Important Note • The backfill role requires onsite presence when the primary engineer is on leave or vacation, • Advance notice will be provided whenever your presence is required, • This is a long-term contract position
