Who we are: KLIMB is a branding and website studio. Who we work with: Series A to pre-IPO SaaS and AI companies, product-first tech teams, European scale-ups expanding to the US, founders and marketing leaders looking for senior, hands-on partners. This is a senior creative lead role. We are not looking for someone who wants to become senior. You already are one. You have at least 8 years of proven experience, with real shipped work in brand, digital and web for demanding clients. You are comfortable owning projects end to end, defending ideas, and setting the creative bar for others. ⸻ Responsibilities: 60%, Hands-on senior creative: • You know how to create a brand strategy and brand platform, • You know what a brand idea is, • You know how to design a visual identity, • You’ve designed/built websites and are familiar with design systems, • You know how to collaborate closely with developers and partners, • You always document decisions, processes and systems 40%, Creative direction and team leadership: • You own the creative bar at KLIMB: set standards, principles and guardrails, • You know how to take day-to-day design leadership off the founders with reliable judgment and taste, • You can coach designers through structured feedback and design reviews, • You know how tk present confidently to clients, sell ideas clearly and defend choices with logic and references, • You know how to read the real problem behind briefs and reframe when needed, • You’re good at handling objections calmly and keeping momentum in ambiguous situations (you don’t take things personally - if you do, this job is not for you), • You mentor mid-level and junior designers and onboard new team members, • You’re always chasing good design ops: file hygiene, libraries and workflows, • You’ll help recruit, assess candidates and maintain a strong freelance bench, • You know how to kill ideas fast when they do not serve the goal, • You understand the importance of distribution: to contribute to KLIMB’s visibility, case studies, events, talks and community ⸻ Requirements: Seniority and mindset • At least 8 years of professional experience in branding You • are already a senior creative lead, not on the way to becoming one, • You have strong taste, strong opinions, and the ability to explain and sell your ideas, • You want to join a fast-growing agency and are ready to fully commit and invest yourself in its development Hands-on expectation • You are comfortable designing regularly, even as a Creative Director, • You believe in leading by example and showing that you can still execute at a high level, • If you are not comfortable with designing from time to time to prove and demonstrate your craft, this role is not for you Business mindset and network • You understand the importance of pitching, selling ideas and creating trust with clients, • If you come with a strong professional network, existing clients or concrete opportunities, this can be discussed as part of the package to explore win-win setups Ways of working • You value in-person collaboration to do great creative work Language • Fluent English is mandatory, we speak English daily, • If you are looking to “improve your English”, this is not the right role, • French is also required Tools Must-haves: Figma, Notion, Adobe Suite Nice-to-haves: Webflow, Framer, Jitter, motion design, video, photography, or any distinctive skill you bring ⸻ Recruitment process: 1.
