Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Inspection & Quality Control
Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicles, including pre-owned and imported cars from Japan, for mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic defects.
Verify certified mileage reports and authenticity of vehicle history.
Test-drive vehicles to confirm performance and safety standards.
Compliance & Regulatory Checks
Ensure all vehicles comply with UK safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Maintain detailed records of inspections and repairs for regulatory compliance.
Stay updated on automotive industry standards, recalls, and certification requirements.
Process Improvement
Develop and implement QA procedures to ensure consistent vehicle quality.
Identify recurring defects or issues and collaborate with service and technical teams to resolve them.
Recommend improvements in vehicle procurement, inspection, and preparation processes.
Customer Support & Reporting
Provide technical insights to sales staff and customers regarding vehicle condition and maintenance.
Investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints promptly.
Prepare detailed QA reports, documenting inspections, issues, and corrective actions.
