Key Responsibilities: Lettings Experience ( 2 years + ) Property Acquisition: Proactively source and secure new rental properties to expand our portfolio. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords to persuade them to choose our agency for their lettings needs. Client Engagement: Meet with potential landlords to discuss their property requirements and showcase our services. Utilize persuasive communication skills to win business and establish long-term partnerships. Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with local rental market trends, property values, and competitor activities to effectively position our agency and advise clients. Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve overall team targets. Property Management: Assist in managing rental properties, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service to landlords and tenants alike. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to enhance property listings and maximize exposure across various platforms. Qualifications: Proven experience in lettings or property management, with a strong track record of acquiring properties. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with landlords and clients. Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile. Knowledge of the local property market and relevant legislation. To support our continued growth, we’re seeking two experienced freelance consultants who thrive in a hybrid role combining client development and technical delivery. Role Description Working through your own PSC, you’ll take full ownership of client engagements from new business acquisition through to claim submission. We’ll support you with internal QC, marketing reach, and collaborative claim best practice, while you focus on generating opportunities, building trust, uncovering eligible activity, and preparing clear, defensible documentation. About you: • Proven R&D advisory experience (min. 2 years), ideally within an agency or client-facing setting., • Confident communicator with the gravitas to manage client expectations from first contact., • Able to translate complex innovation into structured, claim-ready documentation., • Operate autonomously but collaboratively, with capacity to take on new clients., • Energetic, proactive, and committed to ethical, quality-focused delivery. Your Key Responsibilities: • Identify and onboard prospective clients through business development activities, referrals, partners, including professional networks, outreach, or warm leads., • Facilitate an engagement agreement with the client., • Conduct discovery meetings to assess R&D potential, aligned with BEIS/DSIT guidance and CTA 2009., • Evaluate technical/scientific eligibility across a wide range of industries., • Identify and apportion qualifying R&D costs in collaboration with client finance teams., • Support the writing of HMRC-compliant technical narratives and claim compilation (including AIF data)., • Collaborate with our internal team for peer review, compliance & quality checks, and continuous improvement., • Stay up to date on relevant scheme changes, legislation, and risk areas. Coordinate with educational institutions when required. Identify opportunities to introduce new activities, learning resources and age-appropriate programs to enrich children’s experiences. Work closely with parents, educational professionals and health providers to ensure holistic care and support for each child. Stay informed on childcare regulations, safeguarding policies and early years education standards. Ensure that all care practices meet legal and professional requirements. Continuous Improvement: Regularly reflect on practice, seek feedback and update childcare strategies to maintain a high-quality service. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
